My name is Josh and thanks for checking out the Campbell’s soup version of my life. Here you will find a brief introduction into who I am and what I am all about.
I am graduating cum laude from The University of Alabama’s top-rated PR program (by PRWeek) in May and have every intention of starting my career in the San Francisco Bay Area. I spent most of my time in New England before moving to Alabama and am ready for new challenges and horizons–figuratively and literally.
My passion for life fuels an extremely broad range of interests (hence the name of my blog) that include, but are in no way limited to: travel, lifestyle, SM, WOM, sports, design, health & fitness, movies & entertainment and many more. I am seeking an entry-level communications position, preferably with a PR emphasis.
My early career goals are to listen, absorb and learn from talented professionals and driven peers; to perfect my communication skills while developing new tactics; and to experience many of the varying fields of communications.
I possess the commitment, confidence and capability to succeed at anything I put my mind to. I insist on delivering results beyond those of which I am asked and never give less than 100%. I love to ask questions and am not afraid to ask for help.
I am a reliable teammate and an encouraging leader. I am aggressive, persistent and kind. I am seriously fun but know when to separate the two; I will be where you need me to be when you need me most, both physically and mentally.
While here, please view my résumé of diverse work experience, browse my well-rounded portfolio and enjoy a few of my blog posts if you have the time.
I have a diverse background of education and experience that propels a work ethic few have seen, but will come to expect, and an infectious optimism for finding at least one positive in every negative.
Thanks again for stopping by and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
I will be job-hunting and visiting San Francisco March 12-20–for the first time–and would love to network as much as possible while there. Informational interviews, job shadows for an afternoon, office tours, networking events; I would greatly appreciate any invitations, recommendations, references, or information regarding anything and everything I can do to make connections in the Bay Area.
Thank you #HAPPO!
